Tim O’Reilly has a post on the O’Reilly Radar blog about what VCs learned from Odeo and YouTube.
Tim gets a lot of it right, but misses the point that the vast majority of VC firms are followers not leaders. The leaders are the ones who are figuring out the future and making bets where others just aren’t even looking.
These are the kind of VCs you want on your side.
